Meron K Alemayehu Chamberlain University NR326 Mental Health â€Å"The Iron Lady† Movie Review Professor: Clarisa Quarles Diallo Introduction The Iron Lady is a movie about Margaret Thatcher who was the first female prime minister of United Kingdom starting from 1979 up until 1990. She was also the leader of conservative party from 1975 until 1990. She was also a mother of a set two. Her daughter Carol lives in the United States of America and Her son Mark is residing in South Africa. Her late husband name is Denis Thatcher. Later in her life Margaret Thatcher has suffered from Neurocognitive disorder. Content Mrs. Thatcher has served her country for more than eleven years. Before and during her leadership of the United Kingdom†¦show more content†¦Thatcher shows that she is a high risk for self-injury and fall risk. She is not able to live by herself independently due to her altered thought process. She has recent memory loss more than long time past memory loss. She is confused and disoriented to time and place, she wanders around possibly looking for her family she also talked with her late husband constantly. During her doctor’s visit of her evaluation, she denies having hallucinations and denies many other symptoms. She has no concern of her deficits. Often times, her daughter carol often has to gently redirect her to reality regards to her not being prime minster anymore and that Denis is dead. Treatment plan Patient name is Margaret Thatcher, an 85 year old female with Neurocognitive disorder. Risk assessments reviled no suicidal ideation or homicidal ideation. Patient is presented with disturbed thought process, impaired memory perception, disorientation, confusion and inaccurate interpretation of self and environment; including hallucinations and delusions. Evidenced by her random questions to her daughter such as â€Å"I want to see mark, tell him to come and give me a good night kiss† Mark is her son who resides in South Africa with his wife and kids. Mrs. Teacher at times makes statements demanding to make public announcement as a prime minister.
